Executive Council Meeting

District II Board of Directors Meeting
The District II Board of Directors meeting consists of District II Officers as well as officers from each of the three NY Chapters.

Annual Legislative Conference
The National AAP's Annual Legislative Conference is open to all AAP members interested in the legislative process. The conference has served to instill knowledge of the state and federal legislative process, develop advocacy skills and introduce strategies and techniques for utilizing the media. Many individuals have become effective advocates at the national, state, chapter, and local levels.  (Contact the AAP's Washington Office at (202) 347-8600 for details.)

Annual Leadership Forum
A national meeting of the leadership from the AAP's Chapters, Committees and Sections.  One of the main purposes of this meeting is to discuss and vote on resolutions.

Chapter Advocacy Summit
The National AAP's Chapter Advocacy Summit was created as an opportunity to strengthen chapter advocacy efforts. Our goal is to bring together chapter legislative leaders in a setting where they can draw on their collective experiences to discuss innovative ideas and share strategies.  The intended participants in this program are your chapter’s state government affairs committee chairperson, lobbyist, and/or other chapter members or staff who have had long-term involvement in state government affairs work. Each chapter may send two representatives to attend.
